Your healing journey
begins here.

Hi, I'm Lindsey Batista, LCSW, PMH-C.
Welcome to BloomPoint Counseling. I'm so glad you're here.

I founded BloomPoint Counseling, LLC with one simple belief: everyone deserves a safe, compassionate place to heal, grow, and discover their own strength. Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and my goal is to provide a space where individuals and families feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered throughout their journey.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C), I've dedicated my career to helping people navigate life's challenges with evidence-based care, empathy, and hope.

With more than 11 years of experience in the social work field and 7 years providing psychotherapy, I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. Every person who walks through my door brings a unique story, and I believe therapy should honor that individuality through personalized, collaborative care.

Growth isn't about becoming someone different—it's about creating the conditions that allow you to become the healthiest, most authentic version of yourself.

The Brave Ocean Series

A collection of seven illustrated children's books designed for parent-child connection. Each story uses the warmth of the ocean to explore real emotional challenges — anxiety, worry, trauma, and more — letting children feel it, recognize it, and move through it alongside characters they can love.

Professor Octopus Weathers the Storm
Toby Turtle Rides the Waves
Delilah Dolphin Follows Her Compass
Coral Crab Learns When Helping Helps
Perry the Pufferfish and the EchoWaves
Sammy the Seahorse and the Spark Currents
Luna Sea Lion
Written by a Licensed Therapist

Each story is rooted in evidence-based therapeutic concepts, translated into language children ages 3–10 can connect with.

Caregiver Notes in Every Book

Each book includes a Caregiver Notes page explaining the emotional theme in plain language — no clinical jargon — plus a "Try It Together" activity.

Turn Storytime Into Connection Time

These stories open conversations about anxiety, worry, trauma, and more in a way that feels natural, warm, and safe for the whole family.

"Rather than talking about mental health, these stories let children feel it, recognize it, and move through it alongside characters they can love."

Your Questions,
Answered

Therapy can benefit anyone — whether you're in crisis or simply want to understand yourself better. If you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or just curious about your patterns, that's a great reason to reach out.

Yes, we accept most major insurance plans.

Your first session is a conversation, not an interview. Your therapist will ask about your background, what brings you in, and what you hope to achieve. There's no pressure — just a warm getting-to-know-you.

Duration varies. Some people see meaningful change in 8–12 sessions; others benefit from longer-term support. We regularly check in on progress and adjust together.

Absolutely. Confidentiality is foundational to therapy. There are only narrow, legally mandated exceptions (such as imminent safety risk). Your therapist will fully explain these before your first session.
